In My Mailbox (2)

Posted August 29, 2011 by Melissa in In My Mailbox | 8 Comments

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme created by The Story Siren to share whatever books and bookish goodies that you’ve bought, borrowed, won, or been gifted and have thus entered your home the previous week. You can show off books that you are excited about and it’s also a great opportunity to showcase books that you may not actually have the time to read or review.
Here’s what came into my home this past week:
Downloaded:
Waterfall: A Novel (River of Time Series)
Waterfall – Lisa T Bergren
I can’t wait to start this one!  The only glitch is that I bought the ebook before the e-reader.  Barnes & Noble…here I come!
Won:
Midnight Riot
Midnight Riot – Ben Aaronovitch
from Kristin @ My Bookish Ways
Nightshade: Book 1
 Wolfsbane (Nightshade, Book 2)
Nightshade & Wolfsbane – Andrea Cremer
Sadly I don’t remember where I won these and can’t find the email:(
Well, that’s all for this week. What exciting books have come into your hands this week??

  1. I had a great shopping week for a change. 🙂 I picked up a couple of books from Samhain (Ravenborne by Chandra Ryan and Incarnate from AC Ruttan), a few from Amazon (Dead, Undead or Somewhere In Between and The Renfield Syndrome by JA Saare and Halfway Hexed by Kimberly Frost and while I was being tortured at the mall I went to Barnes & Noble and got Bound by Blood by Rachel Vincent and Murder Under Cover by Kate Carlisle. For me it was a good weekend. lol

I really want to read the Nightshade/Wolfsbane books when I can find the time to work them into my TBR pile. They’ve been on my wishlist forever it seems. Happy reading!

I came over from Book Blogs and followed you with GFC and liked your FB page. 🙂

  2. LOL! I hate it when I can’t remember where I won a book from, but I do love to enter giveaways, so it is bound to happen. 🙂

Great haul. I’m so excited for your thoughts on Waterfall. 🙂

  3. Nice set of books this week. I got Waterfall for free from Amazon… but I don’t have a kindle. HaHa So I just downloaded their kindle for the PC. My library doesn’t carry the book and I really wanted to read it.
    Happy reading,
