It began on Freak Day—that day no one could explain, when strangers and family members alike went crazy and started biting one another. Some thought the outbreak was caused by a flu shot, others that it was a diet drug gone terribly wrong. All anyone knew is that once you were bitten and went to sleep, you woke up a freak.

My Thoughts

Domino Falls is an excellent follow up to Devil’s Wake. Once again, I had some difficulty getting used to the writing style of this pair…but it didn’t take long before I was distracted from those difficulties and sucked right into the storyline; caught up once again in the tale of this inspiring group of young people. Once again, the character development is amazing and they manage to almost carry the book on their own. Luckily they don’t have to. The perfect pacing and constant suspense of the tale only increases in this sequel and in addition to confirming that…Yes,I apparently do like some Zombie books…Domino Falls also added in a great science fiction twist that really added to the interest and suspense of this series. (Though if you’ve read my review for the first book in this series you know how mad I was that they gave the twist away in the synopsis for the first book.) There is no doubt that I’ll be eagerly anticipating the next book in this series!
