  1. Yay for getting over a book slump. They are the worst! It’s nice that you’re able to enjoy the readathon.

Also yay for watching the Matrix collection! I haven’t watched them in years but maybe you’re inspiring me to check them out again. Glad you’re enjoying so far!

Hope you have a great week.

  2. I love the Matrix movies and I still remember when I went and saw the first one in the theater! My husband (at the time boyfriend) and I waited a week b/c we weren’t sure what to make of it at first. Little did we know we would go see it in the theater twice 🙂 I just watched Edge of Tomorrow on TNT last night and it another awesome Sci-Fi movie. The aliens in that one reminded me of the Matrix.

I’m so glad you’re out of the slump!! Christmas books are helping me, that’s for sure!!!

    You have a great week!!!

  3. I really like the Christmas Hallmark films Those are usually the only ones I’ll watch. haha I really liked My True Love Gave to Me – some nice stories! I still need to read the summer collection. I still need to read Let it Snow though – love those authors.

  4. Yay for the Hallmark movies lol. They do have a way of getting the holiday spirit going I guess. And glad you’re doing well with the readathon. I’m not ha ha! The Perfect Neighbors looks good, and I like what I’ve read og Liane Moriarty’s stuff.

I very, very seldom read holiday specific books but I have read Let It Snow. I usually end up reading that sort of book at random times – maybe June, maybe February. I enjoyed When All the Girls Have Gone and hope you did too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  6. I loved Let It Snow when I read it several years ago. I’ve been meaning to read My True Love Gave to Me since it came out. Maybe the winter holidays will be a perfect time to actually pick it up. Cheers!

  7. Oliver looks good. I love books like that. I read something similar a couple years back…thinking…thinking… Well, I don’t remember the name, but I think that it was by Sheila Roberts and they made it into a television movie. I look forward to seeing what you think of it.

  8. I’ve been working my way through the holiday readathon too, and it’s absolutely perked me up and helped me work my way through a tough week. I don’t usually think about Christmas this early on, but I’m definitely looking forward to December now!!

  9. Good luck with the read-a-thon! I’ve had my eye on My True Love Gave to Me so I better grab a copy soon. I love the Matrix movies. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched the movies (I have huge crush on Keanu Reeves lol). I hope you have a great week!

I am enjoying it so far for light reading…though shorts are hard to really invest in…so the feels are not the same as a longer read!

  10. I hope you had fun during the HoHoHoRAT! I enjoyed it, though one of my books (not yet reviewed) was a little disappointing. And how are you enjoying When All The Girls Have Gone? I’ll be reading it either this week or next. It looks good, but a little darker than her books usually are, which has me a smidgen apprehensive.

Have a great week and happy reading!
