 Notes from Melissa

SO BUSY! Birthdays galore this month…so we are busy every weekend and I can’t even properly focus on Christmas yet! Hopefully as you read this I am finally looking ahead to Christmas. I have almost all my gifts purchased…just need to wrap, wrap, wrap!

I have been reading mostly Christmas novellas and short stories as I am so short on time and I am loving them. So much so that I want to share the joy of one of my favorite holiday series: The Klaus Brothers by Penny Watson. This series is so funny and has 5 swoon worthy brothers that generate a lot of heat! You’ll want to curl up with them so go to my Instagram account and enter to win!!

  1. I am loving your e-book posts, it’s one place I can come see what some of the current deals are. And yeah it’s busy although with birthdays AND Christmas that would be super hectic! We’re all gonna need a vacation from Christmas lol.

I love White Christmas, already watched it this month! Haven’t ever seen The Shop Around the Corner though. I need to get some more movie watching in… it’s too cold to do anything else anyway. Have a super week!!

  2. The Klaus Brother series sounds perfect for this time of year. I haven’t been doing much holiday reading at all, despite my best laid plans. Oh well. I may be reading Christmas books in April. or July. I’ve at least read one. I just wish it had been more satisfying.

Good luck with the gift wrapping! I shopped for my husband’s secret santa gift this past week, but have left it for him to wrap. He’s a much better wrapper than I am. I also told him that if he does this secret santa thing again next year, he needs to give me more warning. LOL I know I could have left it to him to shop for her (and he was willing)–but it was easier this way.

I hope you have a great week, Melissa! Happy Holidays!

  4. I had every intention of reading a few more Christmas themed books by Sunday…but of course I’m not really in the mood for them. Figures! I ordered Colleen Hoover’s Too Late in paperback and it should be arriving today. Can’t wait to add it to my collection! That was my Christmas present to myself. 🙂
