 Notes from Melissa

Wow it’s been a while (about 7 weeks) since I posted an update. Time guys…there is no time…lol. And I’ve been watching a lot of television and movies in the evenings instead of blogging…naughty me.

But I have been reading, and the books keep pouring in…so here’s an update on all of that! And what I’ve posted the past few weeks.

  1. All the Missing Girls and The Perfect stranger both look like good thrillers. I kinda want to read those. And Dark Life- that’s a really cover. And The Blue Moon Narthex as well.

  2. OMG! So many great books this week. I received Until It Fades as well. And I am going to be starting The Bone Witch tomorrow during baby’s nap. I love the cover for All The Missing Girls… I’m off to go check this one out on Goodreads!

PS I’ve been really slacking on the blog too, though I’m trying to fit it in during baby’s naps. It’s a struggle for me between reading, blogging and TV during her naps. LOL

  3. I would lose time blogging too if I watched more TV. Fortunately – I manage not to get hooked since my hubby turns the TV off around 9pm.
Lots of nice wins and books that should keep you busy for a good time. The Traveler sounds like a book I would like to read and review. (Thanks for sharing your bounty.)

That’s a good policy to have TV off by 9pm…though we would never watch then since we generally don’t finish our days and sit down until 8:30 or 9!

  4. I feel like I’ve fallen into a heavenly post with all those books! You have some great ones there, Melissa. I am looking forward to reading The Bone Witch. The Traveler looks really good too. I want to read All the Missing Girls. Love the Cover of The Blue Moon Narthex.

I understand the lure of television all too well, unfortunately.

I hope you have a great week!

  5. You took such a good pic of the prize… I may have to hire you. 🙂

I’ve been also lagging in my blogging and it will probably be spotty at best so I totally feel you! I think you have done so much better than I have. Oh and we both have the Bone Witch to read. I’m about to start that one. I also spy several books I would love to read. Oh the time and so many books… 🙂
