 Notes from Melissa

Happy 2016! Where did 2015 go?!? Hope you all had a great holiday season and are energized and inspired for the year to come. I have lots of plans for making this a year of happiness!

I ended up taking a bit of a blogging break for the month of December…it wasn’t planned but with things being so hectic, it was definitely needed.  I did a ton of non-review reading and I am recharged now and ready to jump back in.

Have you guys joined any reading challenges? I tried to be more choosy this year as I have a hard time following through, so I am focusing on Finishing Series’ and NetGalley reads. And of course, my favorites…books with witches!!!

Don’t forget to sign up for my 5th Annual Witches & Witchcraft Reading Challenge!!

I’m also quite pleased that I exceeded my Goodreads goal last year!

Hopefully I can do as well this year! (without my blogging suffering! lol)

  1. Happy new year! Sometimes a break from blogging is just what you need, it’s good to feel recharged. I think I joined 4 all year reading challenges and one twice yearly challenge. I try not to join too many reading challenges as that can be stressfull.
Yay for reachign your goodreads goal! Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

  5. I see a few RaeAnne Thayne books – I really liked them! I’m only doing one challenge – the Finish The Series challenge. It’s an ongoing one and I only do it because I have so many series to finish 🙂

  6. It’s great that you did a lot of non-review reading during your holiday break. I read The 5th Wave a few years back and liked it. I have the Matched Trilogy but have yet to read the books. Hope you get to read them all. Enjoy your new books!
