  1. I think Carry On was one of my least favorite books, but that was because I kept comparing it to Harry Potter. I was reading the physical copy and listening to it. I did really enjoy it more when I was listening to it. I hope you enjoy it. I haven’t started the Raven Boys yet…not sure why, maybe just so many other books in the way. I hope you have a great week.
    My Weekly Recap

It’s not Maggie’s though I have been tempted to get one of her sets! It’s a card from a Celtic deck I have.

  2. Hi Melissa!!! You redid your header!! It’s so pretty – nice job!!!!!!! And look, you’re on Piccult, bender ๐Ÿ™‚ Talk about taking your emotions for a ride or what??? I’m afraid to read her for that reason ๐Ÿ™‚

I like your book instagram, too. Are you getting into those now? I don’t even know where to start with those, everyone’s is sooooo good!! One of these days… after I get back into posting ๐Ÿ˜‰

HA! Thanks Kristen! I so needed some inspiration to get back into blogging so I tried to simplify the design here and have also just started dabbling in trying to make my instagram account prettier. I’m so jealous when I see all the lovely shots as I scroll through my feed – I want to have pretty pictures too! LOL We’ll see – It’s a lot of work and I don’t have time to blog as it is let alone bookstagram ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Yeah life definitely has to take priority sometimes! Glad to see you back, and curious what you’ll think of The Passenger. I read that one recently. Those Raven Cycle hardcovers look nice. ๐Ÿ™‚

I enjoyed The Passenger but thought it dragged a bit…and yeah…the Raven cycle pretty:)

  4. The Raven Cycle books! I was really lucky getting free hardcovers. I was given The Raven Boys for a guest review, I traded for The Dream Thieves, and I got Blue Lily, Lily Blue in a box of random books from the publisher, so even if I end up paying full price for The Raven King, I am still ahead of the game. Welcome back! Have a wonderful week. ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow…that is lucky! I still need to buy Blue Lily, Lily Blue and The Raven King. I’ve read the former and am delaying the later…don’t want it to end!

  5. Glad you’re back here!

I want to read In a Dark, Dark Wood soon. Sounds like my kind of story. Also, I have The City of Mirrors but am not in the mood yet to read it. I read the first two books in the series, but they are spaced so far apart I have to look at those to refresh my memory before starting this one.

    Have a great week ahead!

Thanks! In A Dark, Dark Wood was really good:) And Cronin..well what can I say ๐Ÿ™‚ I reread The Passage and The Twelve this Spring before picking up book 3:)
