Bookshelves - 2014(Inspired by Mailbox Monday, IMM, Clock Rewinders and the like)

 Melissa’s Musings

Goodness…where has the summer gone?! I can not believe that we are already half way through August…the remaining summer can be measured in weeks rather than months! I hope you all have had at least one fun adventure this season…I’m planning to start getting out and enjoying the weather more..once we drop from the 90’s to the 80’s..too hot for my taste right now.

I’ve been reading quite a lot lately though…so that is good…if only I could catch up on my review writing. I’m still finding motivating myself to write a challenge as I usually just want to dig right into the next title.

Also, if you’ve any interest…I’m running a few giveaways on my Instagram and Twitter accounts if you’re in the US and would like to enter!

  1. Many good books listed here! I’m hoping to sometime read: Lamb Black, Wolf Grey and Thanks for the Memories and The Drafter (which unfortunately I can’t enter the contest for it because no twitter), and even The Accident Season. An eclectic line-up and all look like fun reading ahead!

  2. Oh, that Paula Brackston book looks good! And I know what you mean about the summer flying by. It seemed endless at the beginning, and now there’s only a week until we leave Robin at college; we won’t see her until mid-December. (She is too far away to come home for Thanksgiving, so she goes to her grandparents’ instead.) I hope you have a lovely week and enjoy the last days of summer!

I have been so intrigued by Fishbowl! The cover is cute, the story sounds original, and the excerpts I read were good too. I hope it’s as good as it looks! Happy reading! 🙂

  5. I feel the same way about summer and about temperatures. It spiked in temp here the past week and I’m ready for it to start getting cooler. You’ve been and will be doing some awesome reading. I read the Curse Workers a while back. It was a very interesting series and I really liked it. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier this week and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
