UPDATE:

All of your entries were absolutely amazing…you sure made it tough for me to pick just one winner!  So I picked my top three (in random order):

“After the Snow, the Winter Garden remained Frozen, and many
years passed until its Cold Magic dared to melt away.”~~~Carla @ Cuidado com o Dalmata

A shiver caressed down her spine as she looked out to frost gathering over the forest as the first snowflakes began to fall, if only he was there to turn the cold kiss he left her with to the warmth she so desperately needed.”~~~Em @ Musings from an Addicted Reader

“After the snow made everything outside sparkle, I went for a walk in
the winter garden, hoping to feel the cold magic of the kissing
snowflakes, but the snow had stopped falling & the frozen
landscape with its silence and the black ice and frost on the
trees all around me only made me shiver with fear from the winter’s
cold kiss.”~~~Aleksandra @ Aleksandra’s Corner

Then I emailed all three to my fiance (our offices are in different rooms lol!), who had no clue about the contest and simply asked him which sentence he liked best….

And the Winner is:

Em @ Musings from an Addicted Reader

Congratulations–I’m emailing you now:)

  1. The COLD MAGIC created FROST in the WINTER GARDEN, I tried KISSING SNOWFLAKES, but it was like a COLD KISS, I was FROZEN and began to SHIVER. 🙂

  2. Standing in the Winter Garden hand in hand with him, I Shivered slightly before he bent down and planted a Cold Kiss on my Frozen lips.

  3. Walking along THE BLACK ICE AFTER THE SNOW had glittered the lake into a FROZEN WINTER GARDEN, I started to SHIVER as more snow fell, covering my face in its COLD KISS.

That was the worst sentence ever. LOL. My past English teachers would NOT be pleased.

  4. Let’s see…

Kaya felt a SHIVER run down her spine as she stood, FROZEN with fear in the WINTER GARDEN, watching THE BLACK ICE prison Tristan had made with his COLD MAGIC slowly form around her. She and Kyrenne, the FROST prince, would be like two KISSING SNOWFLAKES if he chose to free her with his COLD KISS AFTER THE SNOW Queen had all but demanded that her son forget Kaya ever existed…

  5. Well done ladies!

    Here’s mine:
After the Snow, the Winter Garden remained Frozen, and many years passed until its Cold Magic dared to melt away.

  6. I love this challenge, Melissa! It took me awhile, but I managed to get all 9 in there lol. My post is here: http://sweetmarie-83.blogspot.com/2012/02/wicked-winter-read-thon-february-3rd.html

And this is what I came up with:
We left THE BLACK ICE for the safety of a WINTER GARDEN. We spent the afternoon KISSING SNOWFLAKES, and when you put your lips on mine, your COLD KISS made me SHIVER. AFTER THE SNOW, surrounded by FROST and the FROZEN ground, you kissed me again. I’ll never forget your COLD MAGIC.

  7. If there was ever a time for COLD MAGIC, it was now, as the KISSING SNOWFLAKES were doing anything but kissing in the WINTER GARDEN AFTER THE SNOW left them completely forgetful, their poor FROST-bitten, FROZEN brains, riddled with THE BLACK ICE unable to complete that COLD KISS that usually left a SHIVER running down their snow partner’s snowy spine.

I’m signed up for the readathon as Kristilyn @ Reading In Winter.

  8. I only used 6 of the titles, but I also used the book covers in a Rebus-style posting, so that should be worth extra credit. [I tried to put a smiley image here, but it was rejected! 😮 ]

I posted my sentence at Reading in Texas.

  9. So I thought about this a long while.. I use all the words! I think it turned out pretty good ^^

I watch her KISSING SNOWFLAKES through THE BLACK ICE. I SHIVER, FROZEN still. Her COLD KISS makes me fear the FROST creeping over my heart, working its COLD MAGIC. I wonder, will I ever see her again in this WINTER GARDEN AFTER THE SNOW?

Love this challenge by the way! 😮

  10. “Like walking on The Black Ice, I was Frozen by the uncertainty of her Cold Kiss.”

That was a tough challenge!! I hope they aren’t all this hard!! Thanks for a fun one, seriously! 🙂 Off to read…

I gave him a COLD KISS, AFTER THE SNOW in the FROZEN GARDEN, and felt the COLD MAGIC between us as we both began to SHIVER

    Great challenge!
